About Us

North Tryon Laundromat, in Charlotte, NC, is the leading self-service laundromat and a hidden gem in the area! We offer wash, dry and fold services, drop-off, same day service, large capacity dryers, drinks available, detergent supplies, entertainment for your kids, massage chairs for you, free Wi-Fi and much more. Three sizes of washers to serve you better 20lb, 40lb and 60lb capacity. Accommodating large loads. Two sizes of dryers. We have attendants on-site. Extra parking available behind our facility. Most of them mainly spoke Spanish, but they still made a real effort to communicate with me in English—and even tried to have conversations with me, which I really appreciated. One of the ladies noticed I was struggling with the machines and walked me through how to use them. The laundromat was super clean, and the environment felt warm and inviting. They even recommended their other location that has a café in case I ever need to come back. I declined the folding service to save some money, but when they saw me trying to stuff my blankets into my hamper, they folded them for me anyway—completely free. That small act of kindness really stood out. Highly recommend!
